Chocolate Superfood Granola

Chocolate Superfood Granola

Chocolate superfood granola is a crunchy, chocolatey upgrade to store bought granola with oats, nuts, seeds, and Cacao Balance for a nourishing snack.

Tired of boring store bought granola? Here’s an upgrade. This Chocolate Superfood Granola is crunchy, chocolatey, nutty, and just salty enough to keep you reaching for “one more handful.” Toasted oats and coconut create those irresistible golden clusters, while peanut butter and dark chocolate bring a rich, dessert like flavor that makes ordinary breakfast toppings feel a little forgettable. It is the kind of homemade granola that turns a simple yogurt bowl into something you actually look forward to in the morning.

The best part is that every crunchy bite brings more than just flavor. Oats and chia seeds provide fiber, while flaxseed, hemp hearts, and nuts add plant based protein and nourishing fats to create a more satisfying high fiber breakfast or snack. Glim Cacao Balance adds a chocolatey functional twist, making this a delicious way to bring superfoods and functional nutrition into your everyday routine without making wellness feel complicated.

Once you make your own granola, it is hard to look at the store bought stuff the same way. Keep a jar on the counter for quick breakfasts, sprinkle it over Greek yogurt and fresh berries, layer it into a smoothie bowl, or simply grab a handful when the afternoon sweet tooth shows up. For the ultimate chocolate moment, pair it with cold milk and let the dark chocolate chunks soften slightly into the bowl. Save this recipe for your next breakfast upgrade and tag someone who needs to retire their boring granola.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp flaxseed
  • 1/4 Cup cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, or peanuts
  • 2 Tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1/4 Cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 3 Tbsp Cacao Balance
  • 1/4 Cup maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 Tsp flaky sea salt, plus more for topping
  • 1/4 Cup dark chocolate chunks

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a small baking sheet or loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, almonds, hemp hearts, coconut flakes, Cacao Balance, and sea salt.

  3. Add the honey, peanut butter, and melted coconut oil. Stir until everything is evenly coated.

  4. Spread the mixture onto the prepared pan and press it down lightly to encourage clusters.

  5. Bake for 35 minutes, flip in sections halfway through (stirring will prevent clumps from forming).

  6. Let the granola cool completely on the pan.

  7. Add the dark chocolate chunks and finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Store in an airtight container.
